Mi-35s Donated To Afghanistan

The Czech government donated three Mi-35 attack helicopters to the Afghan National Army Air Corps on December 1st, 2008. The helicopters were successfully delivered at Kabul International Airport aboard a chartered AN-124 transport.
The ANAAC will receive three more Mi-35s from the Czech Republic and has further purchased 61 Mi-17V5 helicopters. This dramatically increases ANAAC’s current air defence program which currently manages a fleet of just 34 aircraft.
